Founded by Dr Seleem, a local Consultant Gastroenterology and Liver Disease Specialist. The entity provides consultation, procedural and comprehensive service across gastroenterology disciplines.
Launceston Endoscopy Clinic's vision is to provide rapid access gastrointestinal endoscopy that allows an efficient path to care, enabling GPs to provide and take better care of their patients.
About
Dr Mostafa Seleem
Dr Seleem is an Australian qualified, Consultant Gastroenterologist and Liver Disease Specialist. He completed his training in gastroenterology and hepatology at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and was admitted as a Fellow at the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in June 2012. Before moving to Launceston, he was working as a Consultant Gastroenterologist at the Prince Charles Hospital, Brisbane.

Dr Seleem has been working as a Senior Staff Specialist at the Launceston General Hospital for the past four years. He has already been providing high quality care to his private and public patients in Gastroenterology and Hepatology for the past few years in Launceston. Dr Seleem has also been appointed as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Tasmania. Through his wide experience and dedication, Dr Seleem continues to provide best evidence-based medicine as a member of the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA), American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) and the European Crohn’s and Colitis Organisation (ECCO).

Dr Seleem has now moved to establish his own private practice at Launceston Endoscopy Clinic. He will continue to provide the highest standard of care in a wide range of gastroenterological disorders particularly in the management of:

Dr Seleem welcomes all gastroenterology, endoscopy, and hepatology referrals through his rooms at Launceston Endoscopy Clinic.

Infusion Centre
For iron infusion and Biologics therapy for IBD patients delivered on site.

Pathology Service
For all pathology requests, on site TML is available.
